COVERAGE: 1 Ltr will cover most 4wd underbody’s.
2 Ltr for heavily corroded vehicles or larger 4wd’s
(Up to 25 sqm on clean, well prepared surfaces)
DRYING TIME: 6 – 12 hours per coat, depending on conditions.
CLEAN UP: Mineral Turps
HOW TO APPLY: Spray evenly across all underbody surfaces.
When possible apply a second coast 4 to 6 hours after first coat

Chassis Guard Preparation
Chassis Guard can be applied directly to the underbody of your 4wd.
Best practice:
- Apply Chassis Guard to a clean surface.
- Give the underbody surface a detergent based wash followed up with a degrease and water wash down.
- Once dry apply Chassis Guard.
- Allow 7 days drying time before exposing to a heavy salt water environment.
Having a grime free surface will give chassis guard a much better adhesion that may only need to be reapplied every 12 months.

Xtroll Chassis Guard After Beach Maintenance
AFTER CARE:
The best thing about Chassis guard is how easy it is to wash away the salt and sand after hitting the beach. The barrier created by Chassis Guard will only require a water wash down to remove any remaining salt water and sand.
A water hose-off is sufficient.
When washing vehicle post beach do not apply the following to the underside of the vehicle as this will make the Chassis Guard less effective
- Degreasers
- Detergents or heavy solvents.
- Avoid Detergent and Presoak cleaners.
Chassis Guard can be re applied if required.

This sprays on easily and covers well. I’ve used it on my HJ61 and it’s not washed off, so doing its job. I’ve also used it on the exhibits at the Avondale Agricultural Machinery Museum where we have lots of very old unpainted farming and workshop equipment. It’s under cover but the old bare steel looks flat and dusty. Now I’ve sprayed XTROLL Chassis Guard, the exhibits pop and stand out much better.

Bought this product a couple months back and only just gotten around to applying it this week. Very simple to apply as you would expect from a spray on product. From the moment you spray it on, she chassis looks exceptional. Gives your diffs and chassis that fresh new wet shiny look but as stated in products description, dries hard. Always been happy with all my Cost Effective products and this one is no exception. Will see how it lasts over the next 12 months.
1bottle covered a whole 105 Series Landcruiser with a little left over, and I wasn’t exactly sparing when applying.
Only feedback for production, when applying, the spray mechanism can leak a little making trigger and bottle difficult to hold, hopefully you can find a way to get a better seal for future products.

I have only started using this product on my Amarok and our caravan, it goes on easily and brings up black painted areas on the Amarok making it look like new. Hopefully it is long lasting on the rusty areas. I have not added paint over the rusty areas that have been treated at this stage, but will have to, to cover the rusty marks.

Have been using it on everything. My earthmoving attachments are not in constant use and thus always somewhat rusty. This product goes on so easily and dries totally non sticky. Haven’t tried painting over it as yet but will be soon. 2 for 1 offers are great value.

HI all, I use Orange Agent to 1st clean, then spray Chassis Guard by Cost Effective Maintenance. Works very well, looks new and long lasting.
