Description

The Petrol Stop Smoke Pack is a three-product fix for a smoking petrol engine: Cleanpower and FTC Decarbonizer go in the fuel tank, Flushing Oil Concentrate goes in the engine oil. Together they clean injectors and the fuel system, burn off carbon, free stuck oil rings and restore compression — tackling the causes of exhaust smoke rather than the symptom. An FTC Ezypor Dispenser is included for easy dosing. Suitable for all petrol engines, with a satisfaction guarantee.

A petrol engine smokes for the same reasons a diesel does: dirty injectors, carbon build-up, or oil getting past worn or stuck rings. The stop petrol smoke pack treats all three, so the smoke clears and stays cleared.

In the fuel, Cleanpower cleans injectors, pumps and the whole fuel system for a clean burn, while FTC Decarbonizer burns hard carbon out of the combustion chamber and exhaust. In addition, Flushing Oil Concentrate removes sludge from the oil side and frees stuck rings. As a result, compression returns, oil stops reaching the exhaust, and power and economy come back.

Use the stop petrol smoke pack when you see:

  • Blue smoke at start-up or on the overrun (oil past the rings)
  • Black smoke or a rich, sooty exhaust (poor combustion)
  • Rough idle, pinging or hesitation
  • Lost power or rising fuel use

Each product goes in at a normal refuel or oil change — no downtime. Because it treats the causes, the stop petrol smoke pack is an inexpensive first step before any engine work. A diesel version is also available.

Stop exhaust smoke from a petrol engine

These three products are very easy to use — stopping exhaust smoke is as simple as adding the Cleanpower Fuel Treatment and the FTC Decarbonizer directly into the fuel tank when refuelling, and adding the Flushing Oil Concentrate to the engine oil.

Cleanpower Fuel Treatment

  • Added directly to the fuel tank
  • Cleans injectors and restores spray patterns
  • Cleans fuel pumps and carburettors
  • Reduces exhaust smoke

Flushing Oil Concentrate

  • Added directly into the engine oil
  • Removes engine oil sludge
  • Frees oil rings and restores compression
  • Reduces oil use and exhaust smoke

FTC Decarbonizer

  • Added directly into the fuel tank
  • Removes carbon
  • Cleans the combustion chamber and exhaust
  • Restores power and stops smoke

Stop Smoke Pack for diesel engines is also available.

Frequently asked questions

Which product goes where?

Cleanpower and FTC Decarbonizer go in the petrol tank at each fill. Flushing Oil Concentrate goes in the engine oil at an oil change — see the Instructions tab for rates.

Will it fix blue smoke?

Blue smoke is oil getting past the rings. Flushing Oil Concentrate frees stuck oil rings and restores compression, which is what stops it; the two fuel products clean up the combustion side. Badly worn rings are a mechanical fault the pack can’t reverse.

How soon does the smoke clear?

Most owners see a change within the first one or two tanks of treated fuel and the first oil flush. Results vary with the cause and condition of the engine.

Is it safe for my petrol engine?

Cleanpower and Flushing Oil Concentrate suit all petrol engines. FTC Decarbonizer suits most, but may not suit some older, worn petrol engines — if in doubt, contact us.

    Andrew

I recently purchased this pack for my Mazda 2005 SP23, which had a significant oil-burning issue. Cylinder 1 had a compression of “150,” while cylinder 4 was even lower at “110.” The remaining two cylinders were around 180. After using the FTC and Oil Flush from the pack, and with the guidance of Jimmy, I am thrilled to share that all cylinders are now firing at 180. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results and the support I received during the process.

How to use the Petrol Stop Smoke Pack

Two products go in the fuel tank, one goes in the engine oil. Add them at your next refuel and oil change — no downtime.

In the fuel tank

  • Cleanpower Fuel Treatment: 1:2000 for the first treatment, then 1:4000 for maintenance — one litre treats up to 4,000L of petrol. Add at each fill.
  • FTC Decarbonizer: 1L treats 1,600L of fuel (1:1600). Use a double dose — 1L to 800L — for the first treatment, then the regular dose at each fill. (May not suit some older, worn petrol engines.)

In the engine oil

  • Flushing Oil Concentrate: drain the old oil hot, refill with fresh (cheap) oil, add 125mL per 10L of oil capacity, run at a fast idle for 30 minutes, then drain and refill with good oil and a new filter. After that, a small keep-clean dose in the old oil before each change keeps it clean.
