Description
XTroll Rust Conqueror is a penetrating rust treatment and sealer that stops existing rust and prevents new rust on vehicles, trailers, plant and structures. It soaks into rust layers and the metal beneath, forming a 99% pore-free, moisture-repelling film that bonds the rust back to the surface and stops under-film corrosion. It dries to a hard, flexible, clear varnish-like finish that can be painted over. Coverage is up to 30 m² per litre; it needs little preparation and suits all metals.
Rust never sleeps, and most coatings just cover it. The XTroll Rust Conqueror rust treatment works differently: it penetrates the rust rather than sitting on top. Because it migrates into seams and pits, it reaches the corrosion a brush can’t. It then encapsulates the rust, isolates it from the air, and bonds it back to the metal.
The result is a barrier that lasts. It dries non-tacky and flexible, so it copes with vibration, flex and weather. In addition, it resists acids and chemicals, and welding through it produces no toxic fumes. The smooth finish sheds mud, so treated surfaces clean up easily.
It is simple to apply. Knock off loose scale, then brush, spray or roll it on. Apply wet-on-wet until the surface holds a gloss look — a matt look means more is needed. As a result, the XTroll Rust Conqueror rust treatment suits everything from 4WD chassis and trailers to earthmovers, cane harvesters, sheds and coal prep plants.

XTroll Rust Conqueror is simple to apply. Remove loose scale and apply to rusted areas. When the rusted area retains a gloss look, it is correctly treated. A matt look requires further XTroll to fully seal and encapsulate the rust. Apply coats wet on wet until the gloss look is achieved. Badly oxidised paint takes on a rejuvenated look with the XTroll coating, and that gloss finish is easy to keep clean. Ideal for earthmovers & farm equipment — especially cane harvesters.

Demonstration: a 12-year-old Komatsu excavator
Our XTroll demonstration was conducted on an old Komatsu excavator that had been parked under a gum tree for 12 years, and had accumulated severe rust, oxidation and weathering as a result. After removing heaps of leaf litter and pressure cleaning, it was ready to see what XTroll could do.

How to apply XTroll Rust Conqueror
- Coverage: up to 30 m² per litre on clean, well-prepared surfaces.
- Drying time: 6–12 hours depending on conditions.
- Clean up: mineral turps.
Penetration
XTroll will easily penetrate heavily rusted areas with a wet-on-wet application. Most lightly rusted surfaces will only require 1–2 coats.

Xtroll is the best rust treatment I have used. Minimal preparation, slow to dry so it soaks into crevices and then dries with a hard protective vanish finish. I used it for underneath my 4WD and a rusting verandah post where it soaked in under the base of the post. Cost Effective Maintenance was quick to despatch the Xtroll
