Xtroll Rust Conqueror is designed to prevent, treat and stop rust, with minimal preparation required. It can be applied directly to rusted surfaces, or used as a rust preventative, by brush, spray gun, misting bottle or even a rag. It’s one of the most versatile rust treatments around — priming, sealing and protecting a wide range of materials.

How Does Xtroll Work as a Rust-Prevention Paint?

Xtroll Rust Conqueror dries to a hard-wearing, non-tacky, varnish-like clear finish. It can be applied directly to badly rusted areas to prevent further corrosion, and it’s non-toxic and very safe to handle. As an anti-rust penetrant, it stops further rusting in its tracks:

Apply it at intervals until the rust takes on a gloss finish.
Once dry, it can be painted over where required.

How Does Xtroll Stop Existing Rust?

Applied to a rusted surface, Xtroll penetrates and absorbs into the rust, sealing the area. That non-porous finish effectively prevents further rusting by keeping oxygen and moisture away from the rusted surface.

Step 1. Where possible, remove heavily rusted flakes.

Step 2. Apply Xtroll to the affected area (heavily rusted areas may need a second coat, or until fully penetrated).

Step 3. Once dried, the rust has been stopped — and it can be primed and painted over.

A 1-litre tin of Xtroll Rust Conqueror will treat up to 30 square metres. It’s also available in an easy-to-use spray bottle — handy for quick touch-ups and hard-to-reach spots, with no need to decant or set up a spray gun.
